Using One Domain for WordPress and Webstudio

At a glance

The community members are discussing whether they need to buy two separate domains for a WordPress CMS and a Webstudio site, or if they can use one domain. The comments suggest that it is possible to use the same domain but with separate hosting for WordPress and Webstudio. However, there is no definitive answer, and one community member mentions that they had issues with a hosting provider not allowing them to use GraphQL. Another community member suggests using a subdomain for WordPress and the main domain for Webstudio, but this is not confirmed as a viable solution.

Hello people, can I ask you a dev question? maybe it's a dumb question but. let's say I want to keep Wordpress as a CMS. and use Webstudio as a site. do I need to buy 2 domains for my client to do it. or there is a way to use one domain for both systems?

you can use same domain but different hosting i.e pay for hosting for WordPress and Webstudio separately
Ideally that's how it should work
you can't use the same domain, usually hosting provider for wordpress provides their internal temp domain when you don't have one and that's fine for connecting
ok, I tried it one time with something called InfiniteHosting.. they don't allowed me to use the GraphQL thing.
well, in that case. the client already have a domain. isn't there any way to put the worpress on a subdomain and use the main domain for webstudio?
not sure, but also not an expert on wordpress
thank you very much πŸ™‚ I guess I'll need to test it myself. but, I have no money now to do it πŸ˜…
