Webflow or Webstudio for my new project?

At a glance

The community member is researching options for a website and is unsure whether to use Webstudio or Webflow. The reasons to choose Webflow are that the Webflow CMS is easy to set up and user-friendly for clients, and translations are easier. However, the community member is concerned that with Webstudio, they would need to create separate subfolders for each language, and any update to the main page's styling would have to be replicated in every subfolder, though this issue might be resolved with custom components.

The reasons to choose Webstudio are that it is lower in price, and the community member needs an interactive map where locations are marked based on CMS data, which is challenging to implement in Webflow because of its closed CMS. Webstudio also offers more flexibility and is less restrictive than Webflow.

In the comments, a community member suggests that with Webstudio, localization via the CMS would only require one dynamic page, and all data and translations would be in the CMS. Another community member has decided to use Webstudio, mostly because of its flexibility with CMS data, and a third community member mentions a current limitation with Webstudio that the team is working on.

I am researching options for a website and am unsure whether I should use Webstudio or Webflow.

Reasons to choose Webflow:

The Webflow CMS is easy to set up and user-friendly for clients.
Translations are easier in Webflow. With Webstudio, I’m concerned that I would need to create separate subfolders for each language, and any update to the main page’s styling would have to be replicated in every subfolder. This issue might be resolved with custom components.
Reasons to choose Webstudio:

Lower price.
I need an interactive map where locations are marked based on CMS data. This is challenging to implement in Webflow because of its closed CMS.
It offers more flexibility and is less restrictive than Webflow.
Does anyone have experience with translations in Webstudio or integrating maps?

If you decidee to localize using static pages, then you would indeed be duplciating html structures. Styling via tokens is still completely reusable
You could localize via cms though, in this case its just one dynamic page and all data and translations are in the cms
I've decided to do it with webstudio, mostly because of how flexible it is with CMS data. Thanks for the advice @Oleg Isonen
Good to know, thanks Oleg
