Ouch πŸ˜…

I must first challenge this statement

Is it possible that the WebStudio export option will ever reach the same level of export as Webflow?

Webflow export does not include CMS and forms (among other stuff). Webstudio export does.. you can export you entire dynamic site without losing functionality.

That being said, I wonder if you are talking about static exports (which would not include dynamic functionality) or dynamic exports (which is a react router app).

Either one can be hosted just about anywhere.

So are you looking for static or dynamic and I can help you from there?
If I try to view by clicking on the webstudio index, I can't see anything, it's all broken as if the instances weren't linked in the file.

Regarding the level of export, it is good to know that Webstudio is superior in exporting dynamic content as well.
My client, who is not so stupid, will open the file I delivered and will want to see a common folder structure.

He will immediately open it through the index before uploading it to the server.

In my service, I give the option of delivering a clean file structure, such as HTML, CSS and JS.

I don't think Webstudio exports it like that.

Can you help me explain what the files exported by Webstudio are?
This is completely musunderstood.

  1. webflow doesn't export anything that is related to functionality with cms, webstudio does, you can use exported site with an external CMS or any api
  1. webflow doesn't export the full functional site, webstudio lets you have both, the dynamic react application and an SSG build
Webstudio gives much more, which leads to more complexity in the export and that's why you think its not working for you.
I don't think Webstudio exports it like that.

Webstudio's output is designed to be optimized for the browsers. That does mean that its not meant for manually editing it later.
Everything about static export is here, including a very simple way to self-host the entire site - which webflow doesn't provide to you.

https://docs.webstudio.is/university/self-hosting#static-site
Specifically this part is how to run it locally
