Webstudio CMS Self-Hosting Confusion on Free Plan

At a glance

The community member is using the free plan of Webstudio and is unable to use the CMS functionality directly. According to the documentation, they should be able to self-host a CMS site, but they are having trouble creating a resource request. The community members in the comments suggest that the CMS functionality is only available on the pro plan, and that self-hosting the CMS is free. However, there is no explicitly marked answer to the community member's question.

I'm on the free plan of Webstudio, so I can't use the CMS functionality directly. According to the documentation, I should be able to self-host a CMS site from Webstudio, but whenever I try to create a resource request, it just doesn’t save.

Am I missing something here? It seems like, to self-host with CMS, I'd need to build it in the builder—but the builder itself won’t let me use the CMS on the free plan.

On self hosting you've got the CMS functionnality included. When you are on the cloud free plan, it's not possible to use the CMS functionnality.
so to access the CMS plan I'll have to spinup the builder? (if I don't upgrade the plan?)
To use Webstudio hosting with CMS requests you need a pro plan.
If you self host it's free
