Webstudio vs. wordpress: comparing the benefits of a cdn-powered platform

At a glance

The community member is trying to explain the benefits of Webstudio compared to WordPress, particularly the use of a CDN. They wonder how many WordPress websites are actually deployed on a CDN like Webstudio. Another community member suggests explaining Webstudio to beginners as a tool for designing WordPress websites, where Webstudio handles the design and WordPress handles the content creation. The community members also discuss how Webstudio allows for more customization and control compared to using a WordPress theme.

When I try explaining Webstudio to people that have never heard of it, they ask me things like: is it like wordpress?

One thing I wonder in order to explain benefits of Webstudio compared to Wordpress, how many wordpress websites are actually being deployed on a CDN like Webstudio does?

I think it's to complicated to explain to a beginner what is a CDN. To a beginner you could explain webstudio like this : With Webstudio you can design perfect design for Wordpress. With Webstudio you handle design and with Wordpress you handle content creation.

What do you think of that?
Maybe it's mainly out of my own curiosity how many people put in the effort thinking about a CDN when they're building wordpress websites
I like the fact that instead of installing a wordpress theme and having to fight with it to make it look right, webstudio (just like webflow) lets you build your own theme so that it's exactly how you want
It's a low level of abstraction (closer to the code) so it's easier to customize other behaviors too
