Webstudio website project pages are not being indexed

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue where their webstudio pages are not being indexed by Google. They received an email from Google stating that their portfolio site pages are "Excluded by 'noindex' tag", which they are unsure about. The community member noticed that only the homepage and contact page are being indexed, even though all the pages are working fine.

In the comments, another community member suggests checking if the "Exclude this page from search result" box is unchecked on the affected pages, which the original poster confirms they have done. The discussion then moves to checking the sitemap, with one community member providing a link to the poster's sitemap page. The poster is able to see all their pages when they click on the link, indicating that the pages are indexed.

Another community member suggests that the poster can influence the way their pages are displayed in search results, but they cannot pick the specific pages that are shown. They provide a link to information about sitelinks, which the poster says they will look into as they are still learning about SEO.

Hey guys, does anyone know how to fix this issue where your webstudio pages are not being indexed? Just received an email from Google that my portfolio site pages are not being indexed due to what they called 'Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag' which I have no idea what this is. I noticed that when I search for my site only 'Homepage and contact page' are being indexed or shown on Google even though all the pages are working fine. Any help much appreciate it!

hi, just an Idea: did you make sure the box "Exclude this page from search result" is not checked on the pages that you have trouble with?

@voytado yes I did unchecked all of the pages
check your sitemap, is it there?
domain/sitemap.xml
Will check that and get back to you!
you can also google this and see all the pages theyve chosen to index https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fhopedesign.studio
I can see all my pages when I clicked on the link you shared. What about something like this? Is this something I need to do extra to make it looks like this? Or this does not have anything to do with page being indexed or not?

Good that means they are indexed. You can't pick those, but you can slighly influence them https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/sitelinks
@John Siciliano thanks for the info! Really appreciate it. Not an SEO expert but currently learning
