Where do we paste Style Guides from Webflow, into Webstudio?

At a glance

The community members are discussing how to copy style information from Webflow (Relume, Flowbase) into Webstudio. The main points are:

- The style guide can be copied as a regular page, but copying variables from Webflow is not possible.

- Styles are global tokens in Webstudio, so they can be pasted anywhere, but variables need to be added to the Global Root.

- Copying and pasting styled components from Webflow to Webstudio may not preserve all the styles, as Webflow variables cannot be copied.

The community members suggest that to use Webflow variables in Webstudio, you need to manually copy them from Webflow and insert them into the Global Root in Webstudio.

I've seen a few conversations on copying sections from Webflow into Webstudio. On some of them there's mention of "copy the style guide into Webstudio" - which makes sense.

But how? Or more specifically where in Webstudio should we paste the Style Guide? What is the process for getting style information from Webflow (Relume, Flowbase etc) into Webstudio

I took a guess that it might be Global Root but that doesn't seem to permit pasting.

Thanks

style guide is just regular page
styles are tokens, which are global, no matter where you paste
variables - if oyu want them reusable on every page, then global root, but you can't copy them from webflow
Silly question @Oleg Isonen but my understanding is this:

• Copy & paste the style guide from Webflow into Webstudio
• Copy & paste a styled component from Webflow into Webstudio
• The styled component will pick up all the styles it had in Webflow once it's in Webstudio? Typography, colour etc.

Correct?

Because that's not what I get.
if you components are using variables in webflow, then it won't because webflow doesn't let you copy variables
you need to seprately go to webflow, copy their variables, insert it into the global root
not sure if webflow lets you copy variables from the UI, if not you can do this using browser dev tools
Interesting, I'll investigate that. Many thanks!
