probably / most likely, but we don't know enough about demand to make it a priority
features seem at this stage much more important
do you have great pricing examples for white label?
I would say go high level
but I got this because it's cheaper
I would say just increase the lifetime price so that it includes whitelabel
is their pricing including white label? or is there a special package for white label
I have to say though this is not a 1:1 competitor, they aren't even one mostly
but they have much more than just web builder, it's pretty crazy of what you can do in it, I just have the starter plan
their web builder is basic, we are a quite different kind of platform
ya, they also have web builder but I just liked the flexibley and affortablity of webstudio
would be good to see from direct competition who is doing white label for what price
I have a feeling people don't perceive white labeling as something premium aka enterprise level service
btw, I don't know how hard it will be for you guys to implement it but go high level lets you just login to godaddy and automatically connection the domain, that would be a big benefit for webstudio
@Oleg Isonen I'm not a big fun of white labeling, WS has to build its brand and by doing white labeling you gonna lose your brand IMO, moreover I agree about what you said regarding premium perception, personally I see it as a failure of the original company to sell its product organically and try to find other source of revenues whatever it takes
@Simply are you speaking from some kind experience?
How is that possible? yes i won't increase the brand awareness via people using it as white label, but why would it necessary mean it would lose it?
Not everyone would use white labeling and yes it has to be much more expensive than just a regular plan
@Oleg Isonen customers will discover there are many "WS" variants in the visual design space, their perception to WS will change as they will consider they are not served directly by the original company. Today I as a customer I jump into discord, report a bug, few days later it's fixed, customers will lose this privilege of quick feedback loop (and you too). Today you have control about everything around WS, once you start delegating it to another company, first you have less incentive to build a brand because you will be making revenue from another base that doesn't require a brand, secondly, even if you try to build it in parallel, it's hard because your brand essence is "diluted" in the market between other brands similar to you, you already shot yourself in the foot. I don't have an extensive experience regarding this, but I believe white labelling could work if the product being white labeled is a medium to sell another service, the value doesn't reside in the white labeled product itself, for example e-retail/booking softwares are good fit. I have evaluated many SaaS products that offer white labelling, till today none has convinced me, if you know any great product, I'll be curious to discover it.
You are talking about a self hosted white labeled solution, that's a different story
talk here about hosted white label, meaning its all the same just slightly modified for the agency/company brand, like logo and some colors
till today none has convinced me,
That has to do with sheer quality of the product I would guess
