Will I be able to use core framework with the upcoming CSS Variables ?

At a glance

The community member is using a framework called Core Framework, which is integrated with the Gutenberg editor and Bricks builder in WordPress. They would like to have a cross-builder stylesheet generator for the basics. The community member also asks if they can use CSS variables in the style panel of Webstudio, with auto-suggest functionality.

In the comments, another community member asks if this approach conflicts with the token-based approach. The original poster responds that they would need to look into it more specifically, but generally they want to enable pasting regular CSS and are not far away from that, including CSS variables. The community members also mention that you can easily generate a lot, including color palettes and gradients, in Webstudio.

It is used in wordpress both in the gutenberg editor and has integration with bricks builder for ease of use. Would be practical to have a cross builder stylesheet-generator for the basics.

Would I be able to use the in the style panel with the upcoming CSS Variables if I just put them into Webstudio - with auto-suggest and so on ?

Does it conflict with your token-approach ?
Would have to look into it more specifically, but generally we do want to enable pasting regular CSS and we are not far away from that + variables.

you can very easily generate a lot including color palette and gradients
