With the new head slot, is it normal we have meta "keywords" by default?

At a glance

The community members discuss the use of meta "keywords" in web development. A community member mentions that Google no longer uses meta keywords, and that the default meta tags provided may not be useful as they require customization. Another community member suggests that the WebStudio team could provide relevant default meta tags and open graph information in the Page Settings, which would be more beneficial. The discussion also includes a comment suggesting not to use the "Head Slot" feature unless there is a specific technical SEO requirement.

A friend who's into frontend told me that Google ignores meta "keywords" now (looks like in the past they were punishing its use?). I would like to know your point of view regarding your choice to add it by default with the "Head Slot" feature? I feel like maybe "description" would be better?

Yeah Google doesnt use them anymore. Nothing in the default can be useful as these require customization. They should be initialized with nothing imo
The point though is for demonstration
Can we expect to benefit from WebStudio team SEO knowledge to have relevant default meta tags? I feel like having 2 or 3 that are relevant would be a lot better and may keep a feeling that WebStudio is really modern and on point for everything.
Relevant default mets tags and open graph are in Page Settings
Don’t use head slot unless there is a specific technical seo thing you are trying to solve
