Cloudflare Will Override DNS?

At a glance

The post asks if Cloudflare will override DNS. The comments explain that by using a Cloudflare account, a community member can route their domain through Cloudflare and manage it there, with Cloudflare's nameserver IP pointing to the webstudio CNAME. Another community member notes that there is no overhead in doing this because webstudio is hosted on Cloudflare, so the nameserver IP is resolved internally to the webstudio CNAME. A third community member thanks another for the helpful information, stating that it was new knowledge that they were able to put to use right away.

you would be just using your cloudflare account and cloudflares nameserver ip to route your domain through it and manage it in cloudflare

[your domain at your old registrar] > [cloudflare nameserver ip] > [webstudio cname]
And there is no overhead doing so because webstudio is hosted in cloudflare, so their nameserver ip is resolved internally to the webstudio cname
Thanks @Oleg Isonen - for some or many, this is basic knowledge, but I learned something new and put it to work right away. Cheers!
