I am using Ghost to write and publish a blog. In the blog post view, I'd like to display links to "previous" and "next," linking to first earlier and later published posts, respectively. Ideally, I'd be able to fetch more than just URLs, so that I can display more metadata in these link blocks — e.g. image and title.

I am aware Ghost API comes with Utility helpers but have no idea how to make them work in Webstudio. 🤷‍♂️

I so often get confused by which panel I am on because they are the exact same size.

IMHO, Webflow makes it easier to comprehend and use because there is a very obvious difference in width of these two panels (gif attached), as well as high-level structure. They "don't make me think" 😊

Could we have these panels look a bit more different in Webstudio, too, please?

A) Shift focus to "Style sources"
B) Move focus
B) Move focused instance "up or down"
C) Move focused instance "in or out"
---
This would allow for a super fast workflow to
  1. Add a component to the canvas
  2. Move it to the right place
  3. Add styles
And couple of bonus ideas:
--------------------------
D) Add a way to reveal all keyboard shortcuts directly in the app - so you don't have to go to https://docs.webstudio.is/university/foundations/shortcuts every time 🙂
E) Perhaps add [+] as an alternative to "Add component" which is currently [A]

Hello everybody. I've looked all over and couldn't find a solution to this issue. Hope someone can help out with actionable advice, or information that will help me understand and accept this new reality 😄

I have published a few websites on Webstudio, with some domains being hosted on Cloudflare, and others using Cloudflare's name servers and DNS management.

This is true in all cases: root domains work as expected, but www will take you nowhere 😦

Some examples — all very much still work in progress, or nothing to see there, but enough to show what I mean:

1) https://davor.fyi/ vs https://www.davor.fyi/
2) https://uxjoy.net/ vs https://www.uxjoy.net/
3) https://sogo.design/ vs https://www.sogo.design/

And finally, I noticed that even https://www.webstudio.is/ isn't working, which makes me suspect there might be some kind of a global issue going on. (screenshot attached)

These are the DNS settings for one of the sites, just to add more context. Nothing else there so no interference should be happening from that end. (screenshot attached)

With Ghost as headless CMS, I'd like to be able to manage content of all pages on my website, and not just the Blog page.

Concrete example: my website has an about page and I'd like that page to show only the content of the corresponding Ghost post—this post has a unique tag (also About).

My idea was to create duplicates of the Ghost Posts and Post page, and repurpose them for this goal. Already felt a bit "messy," but hey, learning through doing, no? 😄 But then I got stuck with the Post (1) page, which is a duplicate of Post. It wouldn't allow me to change neither its name or dynamic path. (video attached)

Questions:
1) Is there a more elegant way of achieving this? Ideally, I'd like to retain a URL structure where blog posts are displayed under www/blog, whereas the About page would be at www/about. The idea is to also add a Now page, which would then reside at www/now.

2) If what I wanted to do—duplicates of Posts and Post page—is the only or optimal way of achieving this, why did I get stuck the way I did?

@John Siciliano – you've already earned so much good karma helping me out, and here I only come for more. Huge thanks in advance 🙏

Hello team,
I am in the process of connecting my website to Ghost – a self-hosted instance. I followed the directions, replaced the default—Webstudio's—API key and Ghost URL, without the trailing slash. Started with posts and that worked like a charm. Proceeded to do the same with the post page, but nothing happened 🤔

In the end, pages posts and sitemap seem to be working as expected. On the other hand, pages post, author, and tag don't seem to be picking up on the changes.
I'd be grateful if someone could take a look and let me know if it was me or something else that caused this not to work. Here is a builder link: https://apps.webstudio.is/builder/0203520e-359c-4445-aade-35c4e9ac4c40?authToken=38409e90-477d-4e69-a715-f7313bbf4605&mode=edit

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Hi all, hope you're well.

I'd appreciate it if someone could take a look at this build https://davorfyi-zxy0b.wstd.io/blog and let me know why the <link> element – selected in the screenshot – doesn't have the "animated" padding-left change on hover.

Thanks in advance!

Hello. Apologies if this has been asked and answered before. I did a quick search before posting this, but couldn't find anything.

Here's the idea: I have a list of clickable blog post previews. When a link element is hovered, I would also like for the blog post title to change color. If I were to write plain CSS, it would go something like this (if memory serves me well 😅):

.card-link:hover h2 { color: #F26D13 }

How to achieve this with Webstudio?

Here's a link to the build: https://apps.webstudio.is/builder/8ee196b0-56f8-42d7-b62c-28c9f1b0f30c?authToken=f75a1c76-45a5-402c-9a72-897770257ab0&mode=preview

WooCommerce integration?
Hello everyone 👋

I'd need to design and build a website for a client that currently relies on Wordpress and WooCommerce - they accept donations and sell various items.

Seeing how Webstudio can now use WordPress as a headless CMS, I am wondering if and when an integration with WooCommerce might be coming to Webstudio, too? 🙂
