Woocommerce integration?

WooCommerce integration?
Hello everyone πŸ‘‹

I'd need to design and build a website for a client that currently relies on Wordpress and WooCommerce - they accept donations and sell various items.

Seeing how Webstudio can now use WordPress as a headless CMS, I am wondering if and when an integration with WooCommerce might be coming to Webstudio, too? πŸ™‚

not yet but yes in the future
it might be possible right now with some limitations in ux
e.g. clicking buy won't update visibly your shoping card number until you click on it
also we haven't tried and don't have a templtae for you
Thanks @Oleg Isonen. That is wonderful news! And appreciate adding more context with what could be done already today.

Have to ask, but understand if it's impossible to answer - any idea whether that might happen within the next 6-12 months? πŸ™‚
I won't be giving such answers on principle. Everyone keeps doing that to me.
Possible - yes, but will it happen? I don't know
I understand and sorry - didn't mean to be annoying πŸ™‚
Just to give more context to the question: this is a real use case and a potentially big money maker for me. It's also something no other competitor can or wants to offer.

But fully understand and respect that this probably isn't a high priority for the majority of Webstudio users, and thus the Webstudio team πŸ™

I'll keep my eyes and ears open and hope for the best. Thanks again for such a quick and thorough reply.
Yes, we get that, the overall prioritization needs to be done based on what each use case will need to actually unlock it
e.g. if there are other limitations, even if we integrate, the ux might still be not good enough
for example to finally launch webflow copy-paste next week we have been working on a gazillion of things for the last year to get to the point where it will actually work and even that only to 70%
each feature has dependencies and its not always straight forward to get to a particular feature
most people can't see the dependencies though
some times we don't see them until we try
Thanks again for the extended reasoning, @Oleg Isonen. I hear you, and it resonates with my work (product designer) on all levels.

Ruthless prioritization is the only way to ensure deep focus, which in turn will lead to high-quality outcomes.

Dependencies are a huge unknown, especially when we're talking about external systems.

I deeply appreciate this approach and will probably take you on that compelling offer for a Pro Lifetime T2 license! I haven't used Webstudio "for realz" just yet, but this is making me a huge believer and a fan! β™₯️ And then, if the WooCommerce integration happens, amazing. If not, I am sure we'll be getting something exceptional from you and your team instead. πŸ™‚
