Dynamic year for copyright text

At a glance

The community member is looking for a way to dynamically add the current year to their copyright text on a static website. They have tried using JavaScript and HTML snippets found through online searches, but nothing has worked. Some community members suggest creating a workflow that pulls in the current year or date, and mention tools like make.com, boost.space, and Google Sheets that could be used for this. Another community member references the Expression Editor as a potential solution, and provides a link to documentation on how to use it.

Useful resources

Hello,

Id there a why to add the year (i.e 2025) dynamically to the copyright text?

I read you can use the Expression Editor, but Im not that technical.

I tried a bunch of Java script and html snippets I found with a few google searched, but nothing worked. I used the HTML block for the html and added the java to the project settings under custom code.

Im an making a static site to be exported and hosted elsewhere.

Thanks!

Matt
