RSS feed

At a glance

A community member asked if it's possible to add an RSS feed. Other community members responded that RSS is an XML document that can be built visually in Webstudio, and provided some relevant resources. There was discussion about whether there would be enough interest in an RSS feed explainer or template, and one community member confirmed they were interested in using RSS feeds with Webstudio. Another community member encountered a bug that prevented them from adding an RSS feed as collection items, and raised the priority of the issue. Finally, a community member announced that an RSS Feed is now available in the Marketplace.

RSS is just an XML document and you can visually build that in Webstudio so I don't see why not.

@John Siciliano I wonder if there are enough people interested in RSS feed explainer or even template or video
added it to my list, but lower prio
I'd be interested! Just figured that Fourthwall ecommerce has an rss xml feed that I was able to load into Facebook products as a datasource. Then I realized I could do that with Webstudio as well.
Still couldn't figure out how to have it added as collection items. I have a sample if needed.
There some very odd bug that prevented me from doing this (maybe its a React bug). I should try again though https://github.com/webstudio-is/webstudio/issues/3715
@Ronald from 360Creators did you figure out how to use rss in a collection ?
It would be handy for things like Send Fox that can use an RSS feed to create emails. I'd definitely be interested too
I confirmed its still an issue and raised the priority from 2 to 1 https://github.com/webstudio-is/webstudio/issues/3715
RSS Feed is now in the Marketplace!
